Every English club's result on one grid
Every European Cup and Champions League match an English club has played, by its score with the home side first, as on the home grid: home goals along the bottom, away goals up the side, whichever side was English. Each square counts the matches that ended that way, and an empty square is a result no English club has had. Select a square to see its matches.

Every European Cup and Champions League match an English club has played counts: the qualifying rounds, the group stages and the league phase, and both legs of a two-legged tie. A score is the one after extra time: a tie won on penalties is a draw on the grid, the shoot-out noted beside it. At a neutral ground (the finals, the 1960s replays, the single matches in Lisbon in August 2020) the side UEFA named first counts as the home side. The European Cup became the Champions League in 1992/93; the pages name each final as it was then.
The results to 2015/16 are from engsoccerdata (James Curley), 2016/17 to 2025/26 from openfootball, two qualifying ties since 2016 from Wikipedia, and this season's from football-data.org, read every morning. Where two sources cover the same seasons they were checked against each other match by match, 310 matches, and every one agreed; every final was checked against its own Wikipedia article, which put 9 of them the way round UEFA named the clubs.
